To bring a dog or cat into Thailand you need microchip, rabies vaccination, health certificate and import permit. There is no quarantine for animals that meet every requirement. Plan on at least 45 days before departure.
Thailand sits in the middle of the difficulty range. There is no titer test and no quarantine for compliant animals, but an import permit from the Department of Livestock Development is mandatory and has to be obtained before departure. Pets also need an ISO microchip, a current rabies vaccination and a health certificate issued shortly before travel. Both Bangkok airports and Phuket accept animals.
